In compliance with article 3 of its Articles of Association, the CORIS Consortium works in the public interest, is a non-profit organization and seeks to: 

• Promote and sustain scientific research in the broadest sense, including basic, translational and clinical research in the healthcare and social-healthcare sector.
• Support research project management in the healthcare and social-healthcare fields through the direct management of allocated funds.
• Evaluate, design, co-ordinate and form partnerships including in the private sector, with regard to priority research topics.
